Shaun B. Holden, MD

Dr. Holden is a board-certified family practitioner. He received his bachelor of arts degree in biology and his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City through the prestigious six-year B.A.M.D. medical program. He graduated in 1992.

Dr. Holden completed his family practice residency in Davenport, Iowa. In 1995, he moved to Harrisonville to join Harrisonville Family Medicine.

Dr. Holden is a native of Harrisonville and a graduate of Harrisonville High School. In his free time, Dr. Holden enjoys spending time with his wife, Susan, and their four children.

Amy Gibbens, NP-C

Amy Gibbens received her bachelors of science in nursing at University of Central Missouri in 2006. She worked as a registered nurse in medical-surgical care unit for eleven years before coming to Harrisonville Family Medicine. She earned her master’s degree from the University of Central Missouri in 2017 where she majored in the rural family nurse practitioner program. She is a board-certified nurse practitioner.

Amy finds great joy in caring for individuals throughout their lifespan. Her special interests include management of acute and chronic illness as well as pediatrics. She is committed to providing quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages and stages of life with an emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention.

When she isn’t working with patients, Amy enjoys spending time with her two young children and her husband. Completing outdoor projects or just having fun together are the most favorite pastimes for Amy and her family. She enjoys scrapbooking all of the greatest memories, and is looking forward to even more busy times as her children begin school this year.
